Intelligence 

Copilot - Knowledge Base Reports for Admins: Admins can now generate reports for any knowledge base, including user interaction history and feedback from the last 30 days. The report is then sent to the requestor's email address. Learn more.   

Collaboration  

Preview Analytics: Preview Analytics offers deep insights into stakeholder engagement, tracking interactions at both document and page levels. By understanding user attention, it helps optimize content, prioritize updates, and ensure high quality. Learn more

PDF File Handler Add-on Enhancements:  

  • Web UI – Document Comparison: Users can now easily select different documents or older versions for comparison with Document Comparison's intuitive UI, saving time and improving review accuracy. Learn more.  
  • Replace Signers: Egnyte lets users replace signers in an in-progress eSignature request, eliminating the need to delete and recreate requests ultimately saving time.  Learn more
  • E-Sign – Signature Forwarding: S If enabled by the requestor, signers can now forward signature requests, including template-based ones, improving flexibility and ensuring faster completion of document approvals. Learn more
  • Web UI – Signature Requests and Templates: Users can apply a template when sending an ad hoc eSignature request, saving time and increasing consistency. Learn more

Web UI – Project & Document Room Templates: A new tab in Project and Document Room Templates classifies General and Template Permissions separately to simplify navigation and enable users to locate and manage settings effectively. Learn more

Web UI – Team Management (Limited Availability): Users can improve transparency and productivity with Egnyte’s Team Management, easily managing permissions and adding users or groups within project folders or document rooms. Learn more.  

Desktop App for Windows Egnyte Actions: The Egnyte context menu in File Explorer now features a "More Egnyte Actions" option, which allows users to request document signatures, edit PDFs, and review versions directly within the app for improved efficiency. Learn more.  

Desktop App Core for Mac – Connected Folders from External Devices: Users can now connect external device folders to Egnyte, seamlessly syncing files by right-clicking on folders from devices like USB drives or memory cards, improving file accessibility and collaboration. Learn more.  

Folder Insights: Power Users and Admins can now access Folder Insights in the Collaborate Web UI, gaining quick, summarized data insights for better decision-making. Learn more

Project and Document Room Templates (Limited Availability): The new, user-friendly interface replaces JSON-based permission management, allowing users to easily assign permissions, inherit from parent folders, and create dynamic groups for simplified and more efficient access control. Learn more

Webhook Steps in Workflows: Workflow template authors can now add Outbound Webhook steps, enabling automation by integrating workflows with external systems like iPaaS or custom apps. This enhances efficiency and extends processes beyond Egnyte. Learn more

Governance  

Controls on Restoring Content from Snapshot: Egnyte’s enhanced restoration controls enable secure content recovery. Users can restore up to 10 folders at once and process three concurrent jobs, making the restoration process faster and more efficient. Learn more.  

Web UI – Sensitive Content Indication for Files: Admins can configure Secure & Govern classification to show sensitive content indicators in the Collaborate web UI, improving visibility and compliance. Learn more

Document Portal Enhancements: 

  • Upload Requests: Users can now track Upload Request tasks with clear categories: "Upload" for document uploads and "Pending Review" for submitted documents, improving task clarity and management. Learn more
  • Dashboard: Users can now easily view task creation dates with the new "Creation Date" column in the "Created by Me" dashboard task, available on both the Home and Tasks tabs. This enhances task tracking and management. Learn more
  • Document Portal API: Egnyte’s new Document Portal API simplifies workspace management and automates processes with features like bulk workspace creation, template-based workspaces, and easy access to workspace types and lists. Learn more

Integrations 

MS Teams – Standard User Accounts for External Users: Admins can automate the creation of Standard User Accounts for external users in Microsoft Teams, enabling quick addition and easy management by Admins or Team Owners. Learn more.  

MS Teams – Adding Multiple Egnyte Tabs: Admins and Team Owners can now add multiple Egnyte Tabs in Microsoft Teams to display specific folders, including those from multiple domains used within the organization, directly in Teams channels. This feature centralizes file sharing and co-editing, streamlining collaboration in one convenient location.  

Other Enhancements and Releases 

Migration Job Queueing (Limited Availability): The Egnyte Migration App now queues commands when the concurrent job limit is reached, ensuring efficient resource management. This prevents system overload and automatically initiates the next job after a previous one completes. Learn more
