Prompts Library: Egnyte’s new Prompt Library lets users create, manage, and use prompts in Ask, enabling faster, consistent responses tailored to specific workflows or use cases. Learn more.
Copilot and Knowledge Bases APIs: Egnyte’s expanded AI APIs let users access more capabilities externally, such as listing knowledge bases or asking questions to a knowledge base or Egnyte Copilot. Learn more.

New Link Sharing Experience: Egnyte’s Android app features a streamlined Link Sharing interface, simplifying access selection, settings configuration, and link sharing via email or copy. Learn more.

Web UI:

Web UI Visual UI Improvements: Egnyte’s new UI enhancements deliver a cleaner, streamlined experience including the options to resize icons, adjust header and branding bars, and replace top menu buttons with intuitive icons. Learn more.
Template Permissions UI: Users can now manage permissions in Project and Document Room Templates through an intuitive interface to assign, inherit, or create dynamic groups without using JSON objects. Learn more.
Enabling or Disabling Private Folders: Admins can enable or disable private folders in Collaborate settings, giving them more flexibility to manage team data access, visibility, and control. Learn more.

Desktop App for Windows:

Improved Co-Editing Experience for Files With Upload in Progress: Co-editing is now enhanced with a progress bar showing file upload status for better visibility, replacing the generic error message when files aren’t fully uploaded. Learn more.

Desktop App Core for Mac:

New Desktop Core Interface: The Desktop App Core now offers a redesigned interface with a scalable window, advanced search, homepage access, Dock launch, and enhanced native Mac functionality. Learn more.
Context Menu Changes: Users now get a cleaner, more efficient right-click menu. Frequently used actions appear upfront, while additional options are grouped under “More Egnyte Actions.” The new actions menu makes file interactions even more powerful. Learn more.

New External Link Issue Type: Secure & Govern now includes a new issue type, External Link, triggered when shared links grant external access via password, existing users, or specific recipients. Learn more.

Procore Integration - Sort Project List: Users can now sort synced Procore projects on Egnyte by any visible column for easier navigation and project management. Learn more.

Document Portal:

AI-Assisted Metadata Extraction for Upload Requests: Egnyte now offers AI-assisted metadata extraction, allowing users to quickly view key attributes under the Details tab for faster access and action. Learn more.
External User Management: Admins and workspace creators can now remove external users, automatically revoking access and enhancing security and control over shared Workspace folder permissions. Learn more.
Static Resources for the Document Portal: Egnyte customers can now add static resources like key contacts and links to Workspaces in the Document Portal, ensuring external users have quick access to essential information. Learn more.
Workspace Deletion: Admins and Owners can delete unused Workspaces, converting folders to regular ones while retaining user permissions and access in Collaborate. Learn more.
Audit Report Entry for Deleted Workspaces: Deleted Workspaces now appear in the File Audit Report, enhancing visibility and tracking with clear “Workspace Activity”. Learn more.
Upload Requests API for the Documental Portal Add-on: The new Upload Requests API allows users to create upload requests using predefined templates, list available templates for specific folders, and fetch template details. Learn more.

eTMF:

eTMF Public APIs: The new release of eTMF enables users to upload documents and query study details via public APIs, offering new features to list studies, filing levels, artifacts, milestones, and documents based on permissions. Learn more.

Migration Job Report Name Format: The migration job report format reverted to "migration_report_migrationId.xls" to resolve scan slowness and migration issues caused by the previous format. Learn more.
