Document customization for upload request templates: Upload request templates now support document customization, letting creators add, edit, or exclude documents for flexible, time-saving collection management.
Updated limits and recommendations for trainable classifiers: Updated trainable classifier seed file requirements include a minimum of 20 pre-train files and 100 scope files, with 50 pre-train and 300 scope recommended, improving classifier accuracy.
Email domain control for external link sharing (limited availability): Egnyte now lets customers define allowed or blocked email domains for external links, providing greater control and flexibility over access.
Add certificate of completion to a signed document: Egnyte Sign now lets users append a certificate of completion to signed documents, keeping both together for easy reference.

Hybrid Search Public API: Egnyte introduces the Hybrid Search Public API, allowing developers to combine schematically similar items and keyword searches for context-aware results, improving information discovery across simple and complex queries.
Egnyte Copilot in Desktop App: Egnyte Desktop App's new Copilot tab enables instant AI-powered file queries and custom agent creation without browser switching, boosting productivity directly from your desktop.
Scope search and web search: Users can now set and adjust Egnyte Copilot’s scope, combining Egnyte content and web sources to get richer, more accurate, actionable insights.

Sync status indicator: A new sync status indicator in the Desktop App UI continuously shows the synchronization status of offline folders, connected folders, and uploads. Available in Desktop App Core for Mac.
Metadata cache improvements: The Desktop App now optimizes metadata caching, boosting performance and responsiveness, particularly for users managing large numbers of files and folders.

MacOS Tahoe support: Egnyte Desktop App now supports macOS Tahoe, ensuring smooth performance. As per Egnyte’s three-version policy, macOS Ventura is no longer validated or supported for new releases.
Search specific folders: “Search in this folder” is back in the Desktop App, accessible via right-click, enabling folder-specific searches with applied filters.

Built-in CCPA policy updated to CPRA: The built-in CCPA classification policy is updated for CPRA compliance, potentially increasing file matches for active California privacy policies.
Document Labeling metadata automatically carries over to new versions: Document Labeling policies can now automatically carry over metadata to new versions before reanalysis, ensuring consistent policy application and efficiency.
Automatic Document Labeling for all active content classification policies: Document Labeling can now auto-create labels for all active classification policies, eliminating the need to manually set up each labeling policy.
Removal of 10,000-folder limit for moving folders to Inactive: The 10,000-folder limit per job for manual or policy-based folder moves has been removed, allowing larger-scale folder operations.

Healthcare—Custom Document Lifecycles: Custom Document Lifecycles in Controlled Document Management let organizations define tailored lifecycles, create custom categories with statuses, and track activity for compliance and regulated workflows.

Domain-restricted link sharing on Android: Domain-based link sharing restrictions (limited availability) are now in the Android app, notifying users of blocked domains to ensure company policy compliance. This feature is also available in Egnyte iOS App.

User homepage: The Egnyte iOS App now has a customizable homepage with widgets, offering quick access to files, tasks, tools, and Copilot, reducing navigation time.
