  • Bring Your Own Model (BYOM): Egnyte’s BYOM allows teams to connect trusted models like OpenAI or Anthropic, enabling custom AI use aligned with internal policies, compliance needs, and domain expertise within Egnyte. Learn more.  
  • Real-Time Streaming and Loading Indicators: Egnyte Copilot and Knowledge Base updates include real-time streaming, loading indicators, and a stop button, delivering faster responses, better visibility, and more control during content generation. Learn more
  • Copilot – Suggested Questions/ Prompts: Copilot now suggests specific questions for each Knowledge Base and adds history, allowing users to easily revisit previous conversations. Learn more
  • Prompt Wizard: Egnyte’s new Prompt Wizard helps users create clearer, more structured prompts for Copilot and Knowledge Bases, improving response quality and reducing prompt creation time. Learn more
  • AI Prompt in Workflow Templates Step: Egnyte Copilot now integrates with Workflow Templates, enabling creators to add AI steps for reviews, summaries, and metadata extraction with customizable output options. Learn more.

Web UI: 

  • Workflow Templates:  
    • Convert File to PDF Step in Workflow Templates: Users can now automatically convert files to PDF within workflow templates, eliminating manual steps and ensuring consistent formats for easier sharing, reviews, and record-keeping. Learn more
    • UI enhancements for Workflow Templates listing: The Workflow Templates listing page now features UI enhancements for a smoother experience. Users can hover over a template name to quickly edit, deactivate, or duplicate. Learn more.  
  • Email Address Masking for Specific Recipient Link: To enhance privacy, recipient email addresses are now masked in the UI when using specific recipient links, protecting personal information securely. Learn more.  
  • Additional Fields on the User Profile Page (Limited Availability): User Profiles now display job title, department, and job level, updated via ADKit and visible to users and admins. Learn more.  
  • Self-Service for Custom Access URLs (Limited Availability): Egnyte now supports self-service Custom Access URLs in WebUI, allowing admins to manage domains, SSL certificates, and updates from one place with reduced downtime. Learn more

Desktop App for Windows:  

  • New Desktop App Interface: The Desktop App now has a redesigned interface with a scalable window and improved native Windows experience, offering expanded access to Egnyte features. Learn more

Desktop App Core for Mac:     

  • Configurable Dock Icon: Desktop App Core now allows users to customize the application dock icon by choosing to always show it, show only with open windows, or hide it completely. Learn more.  
  • Egnyte Actions:  
    • Multi-item Support: Users can select multiple items at once, making bulk actions faster and more efficient. Learn more.  
    • Egnyte Actions for Folders: Now offering support for folders, users have a consistent experience across both files and folders. Learn more.  

Egnyte for Android:  

  • Redesigned Upload Experience: The Egnyte App on Android has a new upload experience that includes a refreshed interface, improved status indicators, Upload Center, easier access menu, and better notifications. Learn more.

  • Auto-Remediation – External Link Issues: Users can now create Auto-Remediation rules for external links, customizing actions by severity, sensitive content, or item type - file or folder. Learn more.  
  • Ability to pause archival and deletion policies: Admins can now pause file processing in Archival and Deletion policies, aligning actions with internal change management and specific timing requirements. Learn more
  • Option to Import Excel File for Folder Selection: Egnyte now supports Excel-based imports during SPO migration, making it easy to select 3,000 folders from a list of 10,000. Learn more.

AEC  

  • Specifications Analyst: Designed for the AEC industry, Specifications Analyst speeds up reviews by parsing spec files and extracting key details like submittals, products, and warranties to reduce oversight. Learn more.   
  • BIM File Preview – UI Enhancements: The new BIM file preview enhancements include persistent button states, right-click to switch plane sides, and a ‘Show All’ option to restore isolated components. Learn more.     
  • Explode Tool in BIM File Preview: BIM file previews now include an Explode tool, letting users expand components to visualize relationships better and understand drawing structure with control. Learn more.  

Life Sciences 

  • Creating and Managing Drafts in Controlled Document Management: Users can now import documents as drafts into Egnyte’s Controlled Document Management system, allowing teams to reserve document IDs and prepare content before finalizing or activating it. Learn more.

  • Simplified Process for Self-Enablement of Migration App: Egnyte simplified the Migration App access by removing the questionnaire, letting customers review limitations, choose support level, and save preferences without added steps. Learn more.   
  • Job Recommendations Tool: Egnyte’s new Migration Job Recommendations Tool auto-splits large datasets into optimized jobs, improving speed, stability, and control during migrations. Learn more.
