- AI-powered agents: Egnyte agents are AI-powered software programs that enable users to streamline tasks such as editing, writing, translating, and retrieving information, using natural language prompts directly within selected files for faster, easier work. Learn more.

- Controlled document management—import document API enhancements: The Import Document API now supports importing draft documents and optional end dates, enabling users to add new or updated documents within Controlled Docs. Learn more.
Governance:
- Support for Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) label priority in Egnyte: Egnyte now supports Microsoft Information Protection label priority, ensuring the highest-priority Purview label applies when multiple classification labels match a file. Learn more.
- Document label settings for Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) labels: The "Write persistent label to supported files" checkbox is now automatically enabled by default for Microsoft Information Protection labels and cannot be manually modified. Learn more.
- Quickly delegate issues to data owners: Secure & Govern now auto-suggests Data Owners when delegating issues, simplifying remediation by assigning responsibility directly to relevant content owners. Learn more.
- Purview labeling—support for hierarchical labels: Egnyte now supports importing hierarchical Purview labels as parent/child, helping users easily apply the correct sensitivity level to their content. Learn more.
- Microsoft Purview integration—separate permissions for labels and Classify & Govern: Permissions for reading Microsoft Purview sensitivity labels are now separated from classification and governance, enabling granular control when configuring Microsoft content sources in Egnyte. Learn more.
- Content Bridge 2-Way sync: Egnyte’s Content Bridge now supports bi-directional folder syncing between tenants, ensuring updates in connected folders automatically sync both ways for seamless collaboration. Learn more.

- Tooltip for validation report download link: A tooltip on the download link now informs users that validation reports will be provided inside a zipped folder for clarity. Learn more.
- Migration App
- Additional details in agent token expiry email notifications: Agent token expiry email notifications now include Agent ID and username details, improving clarity and helping users easily identify associated agents. Learn more.
- Controlling threads: Windows Agent defaults to 4 transfers and 8 checkers (threads). Users can increase threads for faster migrations, though excessive allocation may negatively impact overall host machine performance. Learn more.
- Controlling bandwidth throughput: For migration jobs, advanced settings like Empty Folders, Sanitization, Unattended Mode, Confluence, and Throughput control are configurable directly from Migration Details and Advanced Options. Learn more.
- Using exclusion rules: Migration App supports exclusion rules to control migrations, exclude files by extension, glob patterns, or regex patterns. Each method offers flexible filtering, with validation to ensure accuracy before execution. Learn more.
- Email recipients: Egnyte Advanced Options let admins add up to 10 extra email recipients for migration status alerts, ensuring broader visibility and notifications across teams. Learn more.
